Live sugar is created when we allow time for the natural separation of THCA crystals and terpene “sauce” to take place. When the extract reaches a suitably-purged live resin texture, our Denver lab technicians will leave the substance to continue reacting in the oven until the THCA begins to crystallize and push out the other constituents, such as terpenes, leaving a product that is similar to wet beach sand in consistency.
